Where Are Your Accusers

Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”
— John 8:10-11

Jesus confronted hypocrisy! “Let him who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.”

One by one, the hate filled accusers dropped their stones and walked away. They had been silenced by truth that exposed the ravaging sin in their own heart.

Jesus was the only one Who was qualified to throw a stone. Yet! He did nothing of the sort. In fact, he did the opposite.

Everything in Jesus made it clear that he was not going to hurt this precious lady. At last! She was safe with him. His non-condemning presence entered her shame and gave her power to go and sin no more. He restored her dignity, honor, and hope!

He is there for you!
